Husky's Technical Services department is currently looking for a Pipeline Baseline Assessment Coordinator. The position key responsibilities will include the scheduling, organizing, leading, auditing, and tracking of West Canadian Upstream (WCU) Pipeline Baseline Assessments (BLA). The role will be a permanent coordinator position required to provide support to the pipeline group.
Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Annual Scheduling of all WCU BLA- by system priority
  • Leading or participating in the risk assessment process at field facility
  • Report writing and final review of all assessments
  • Auditing the assessment results
  • Reporting on a monthly basis

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Technical School Graduate 2 year program Environmental, Chemical, Petroleum from NAIT, SAIT
  • Engineering Graduate
  • The following certifications would be considered an asset:
    • API certifications
    • NACE Certifications
    • ASET
    • APEGGA
  • 10-years experience with pipeline risk assessments
  • Project management an asset
  • Team Lead experience an asset
  • Ability to identify pipeline threats
  • Determine actions required to reduce pipeline risk
  • Understanding of pipeline regulatory requirements and codes
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite including familiarity with all MS Office functions, Outlook, VISIO
  • Valid driver's license
As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, applicants are asked to provide a recent (i.e., issued within the previous 4 weeks) original driver's abstract for the preceding 3 year period when appearing for an interview.
