Husky’s US Co-op positions are based in Ohio and Wisconsin. The responsibilities of the Co-op position will vary depending on the business unit and work location.

 

Qualifications

  • Basic to mid-level understanding of accounting/finance concepts would be an asset

  • Attention to detail, superior organizational skills, critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to multi-task required

  • Ability to work independently and cohesively in a team

  • Ability to work in a fast pace and timeline driven environment

  • Excellent analytical/modeling and communication skills

  • Previous experience using SAP would be an asset

  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office application including advanced knowledge of MS Excel required

  • Working knowledge of Spotfire, SharePoint, databases and information systems is preferred

  • Working knowledge of VBA, SQL is an asset

  • Working knowledge of statistics is an asset

  • Oil and gas experience would be an asset 

 

Education & Professional Designations

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline
  • Concurrent enrollment in a degree seeking program throughout the duration of the experience
  • Positions are available spring, summer, and fall semesters

Relocation

Students moving for their work term may be eligible to receive a lump sum payment to assist with relocation expenses.

 

Candidates must have their own means of transportation as there is no public transportation in field locations.
