Job Summary

The Technical Services Analyst operates and supports onshore and offshore network, server, and telecommunications technology infrastructure and associated technologies to ensure high levels of availability and security for supported business applications.


This position also participates in the planning and implementation of technology projects to ensure systems provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, policies and procedures, industry-best practices and regulatory requirements.


Core Responsibilities

  • Understand and document business requirements in order to design, develop and support systems that support Husky’s regional business objectives
  • Develop, document, and support technology solutions for the regional offices and offshore installations; recommend approaches, products, and solutions to best support business objectives.
  • Maintain technology infrastructure and services, including risk analysis of upgrade/patch and optimization, in production and non-production environments
  • Support the Service Desk with day-to-day end-user assistance, incident troubleshooting and resolution, and physical asset re-location 


  • Experience in technology infrastructure implementation and support is required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with IS in an oil and gas domain is an asset
  • Practical and methodological experience and competency in many of the following: LAN, WAN, wireless, Microsoft Office suite, Data Centre management, EMC and NetApp storage systems, MS Windows Server 2012 and above, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, Vmware vSphere, UNIX/LINUX, Office 365, HP Proliant & Blade Servers, Voice Over IP Telephony, Satellite communications, IP compression is required.


Education & Professional Designations

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent is an asset
  • ITIL Foundations is an asset
