Husky is currently looking for a SchedulingAnalyst to join their Customer Service Ops & Systems – Husky Midstream departmentat their Calgary, Alberta location.

The Husky Midstream Pipeline team is responsible forproduction forecasting, and the physical movements of heavy crude, diluent andsynthetic crude through the Husky Pipelines, Terminals and the associatedcustomer accounts.  The SchedulingAnalyst role requires the individual to have the ability to work well in a fastpaced, deadline driven, multi-tasking environment.

Thisposition is a customer service and operations role based in Calgary with aprimary responsibility for scheduling movements of heavy crude oil, diluent andsynthetic, and monitoring inventories to ensure all obligations are met with astrong customer focus.  Responsibilitiesmay also include heavy crude oil production forecasting, month end volumetricaccounting and assisting the team with daily pipeline operations and customeraccounts.  This position is one of theprimary contact positions with Shippers, Connected Carriers, Trunk Lines andHusky Pipeline Field personnel.  Weekendon-call and after core hours availability is a requirement.

Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Scheduleand monitor the movements of crude and/or diluent through the Husky Pipelinesto meet all customer requirements and supply availability including the HuskyLloydminster Refinery, Husky Lloydminster Upgrader, Connected Carriers andTrunklines

  • Liaisonbetween Shippers, Trunklines, Pipeline Connected Facility Operators, HuskyField Operations as required to resolve containment, Shipper and Trunklineissues

  • Developstrategies, contingency plans and solve problems employing an ability to reactquickly and efficiently to Pipeline sensitivity due to all operational issues(Husky Pipelines, Connected Carriers and Trunklines)

  • Manage,monitor and reconcile all Husky Pipelines and Shipper inventory positions toensure all shippers are balanced and contracts are met

  • Liaisonwith Shippers, Facility Operators, Trunk Lines and Husky Field Personnel toresolve containment problems or shipper movement problems

  • Verifyand resolve nomination discrepancies for Shipper, Trunkline and ConnectedCarrier (initial & revised)

  • Resolveinventory problems employing an ability to react quickly and efficiently topipeline sensitivity due to downstream Truck Line problems

  • Performand/or participate in Month End Shippers Balances & Weekly Splits

  • Reporting- Crude Oil Logistics, Husky Pipeline Capacity, Government and PetroleumRegistry

  • Participatein restriction, curtailment or apportionment activities

  • Operate,manage and maintain integrity of applications/workbooks

  • SubjectMatter expert for Integrated Pipeline System (IPS) Project

  • Participatein special projects as required

  • Customercommunications (written & verbal) as required

  • Weekendon-call required; after core business hours availability (issue and deadlinedriven)

  • Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to the above


Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have the followingqualifications:

Required:
  • Post-secondaryBusiness/Economics Degree/Certificate or 2+ years related experience

  • 2to 4 years crude oil or relative industry experience

Asset:
  • 2to 4 years directly related experience with a broad knowledge of pipeline systemsoperations and inventory management expertise

  • Comprehensiveknowledge of the pipeline’s rules and regulations

Asthis position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a finalcandidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successfulcompletion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
