Job Title: Co-op Student, Pipeline Projects
Location: Calgary, AB
Start Date: September 3, 2019
Length of Term: 12 or 16 months
Business Unit: Downstream Commercial
Application Deadline: May 20, 2019 or once the position has been filled
Key Responsibilities may involve:
·Provide support toproject managers and engineers during design and execution of projects
·Prepare variousdocuments including project reports to assist in proper execution of theprojects
·Work with corporatetechnical services and project management office to ensure all criticaldocuments are prepared as per corporate requirements
·Work withoperations, engineering house and various other project stakeholders to assistin ensuring project meets all deliverable requirements
·Assist withevaluating, coordinating and managing project risk register
·Travel to work site location asneeded (up to 5%)
·Mustbe currently enrolled in a post-secondary Co-op or Internship program
·Strong academic background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civilengineering
·Completion of third year university preferred
·Minimum GPA of 2.9 or above is required
·Computer skills (MSOffice and databases) are essential
·Previous experienceworking with MS Project would be considered an asset
·Previous experiencewith project management would be considered an asset
·Previous experiencein oil and gas experience would be considered an asset
·Ability to be aself-starter
·Must be able towork effectively in a team environment
·Effective writtenand oral communication skills
