Job Title: Co-op Student, Project Management Office

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Start Date: September 3, 2019

Length of Term: 12 months

Business Unit: Engineering, Procurement & Project Management

Application Deadline: May 30, 2019 or once the position has been filled

Key responsibilitiesmay involve:

·Support the IS development of a WorkProcess Based Project Management System.

·Development of prototype web-basedproject management software for use on company projects.

·Support the Project Managementcompetency framework, development, and roll out -including update of projectmanagement work processes, and associated documentation.

·Support coordination of developmentmeetings with senior key stakeholder across the company.

·Support the Project ManagementOffice in the maintenance of SharePoint intranet.

·Assist with development of secondaryproject management reporting tools.

·Provide general support towardsongoing Husky Operational Integrity Management System (HOIMS) activities asthey relate to the Project Management Office.

·Short term travel to work sites locationswithin Canada may be required.

Qualifications:

·Must be currently enrolled in a formal post-secondary Co-opor Internship program.

·Strong academic background in ComputerScience, Engineering, Commerce, or alike.

·Preference given tostudents in their 3rd or 4th year of study.

·Knowledge and strong experience withvarious programming languages and web design.

·Strong attention to detail andtechnical writing ability would be considered an asset.

·Experience with troubleshooting anddebugging would be considered an asset.

·Ability to prioritize multiple items/ strong self-management skills / work with little supervision.

·Effective interpersonal,communication, and organizational skills.

·Ability to work effectively in ateam environment.

·Knowledge and experience with WebApplication Frameworks would be considered an asset.

·Knowledge and experience withProject Management would be considered an asset.

·Knowledge and experience in an Oil &Gas environment will be considered an asset.
