Job Title: Summer Student, Joint Venture
Location: Calgary, AB
Start Date: May 7, 2019
Length of Term: 4 months
Business Unit: Exploration & Production Services
Application Deadline: December 31, 2018 or once the position is filled
Key responsibilities may involve:
  • Participate in Joint Venture projects
  • Assist in property reviews
  • Assist in review, enhancement, and documentation of Joint Venture procedures
  • Participate in Acquisitions and Divestitures cleanup and/or assisting with current Acquisitions and Divestitures activities
  • Assisting with the enhancement of the team’s current digitized filing process
  • Provide support to JV Analysts/Representatives as required
  • Must be returning to studies at a recognized post-secondary institution in the fall following the work term
  • Preference will be given to students studying Engineering and Business
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in CS Explorer, SAP, JIBLink, PVR/GFR, Spotfire is considered an asset
  • Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Strong interpersonal, technical written and oral communication skills;
  • Has an aptitude for working in a team environment;
